Buyers Beware. You will be reported to the Federal Trade Commission's E-Commerce
& Internet Business Information and/or Internet Fraud Complaint Center.
What are things that potentially fraudulent buyers do?
•
Ask you to wire money into their account.
• Buyer offers high-value (but fake) cashier's check in exchange for
your "for sale" item. The value of cashier's check often far exceeds
your item and the buyer asks you to wire the balance via money transfer service.
Banks will often cash these fake checks AND THEN HOLD YOU RESPONSIBLE WHEN
THE CHECK FAILS TO CLEAR . Scams often involve a 3rd party (shipping agent,
business associate owing buyer money). We would strongly discourage you from
wiring money.
• Will not provide you a verifiable US telephone number.
• Place large orders to be sent to a foreign location.
• Say they will pay you half of what's due before they receive the item,
and half payment afterwards.
• Pay with an international credit card or cashier's check.
• Recommend an unfamiliar escrow or payment service.
Return Policy
Returns
are accepted. Buyer must notify me of their intent to return the item, and
the item must be received within 7 days of the delivery. Item must be returned
in the same condition it was received by the Buyer. Buyer
to pay all shipping costs to and from.
If an item is broken in route through the mail carrier (USPS, UPS or FedEx)
due to packaging error, then the buyer is required to take photos of the item
and packaging when it arrives. Then contact us by email
and we will offer you an equal exchange, store credit or refund of the purchase
price. The broken item must be shipped back to Great Gifts To Go (at
the buyer's expense) if suitable photos are not provided by the
buyer.
Great Gifts To Go is not responsible for lost or broken items through the
mail carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx) unless packaging error at Great Gifts To Go.
Insurance is encouraged for larger items purchased from Great Gifts To Go.
